Vehicle Description
If you have owned one of these trucks, then you know why they were
so popular. They are great looking, great driving trucks that get
the job done without a lot of drama. If you are looking for a truck
like that, check out this low mileage example. With less than
29,000 actual miles, it's like being able to buy an almost new
truck, only better. It's a mid-80s Chevy.
There is something that just looks right about a red truck.
Especially a red Silverado. It's big, and bold. The chrome really
stands out against it. It starts up front with the quad headlights
in the grill with a chrome bumper below it that really shines.
Chrome wheel well moldings and a band running down the side add
their splash of flash, and a diamond plate chrome rear bumper
finishes off the back end nicely. Factory steel wheels with
polished trim rings and wheel centers with BFGoodrich white letter
tires look great. Thirty plus years takes its toll on paint even
when its well taken care of, so this Silverado has had a nice
respray to bring its shine back, and shine it does.
Silverado interiors are always nice because of the upgrades you get
with it. Red with black accents on the upper and lower door panels
are sharp looking. The seat is covered with red vinyl on the edges,
where you slide over getting in, and with comfortable black cloth
inserts where you spend your traveling time. The tilt wheel helps
you find a comfortable driving position. The dash is neat and clean
with everything clearly visible. Engine gauges to the left of the
speedo, heating and A/C controls to the right. Red carpets and
headliner keep the look sharp and black floormats help keep the
carpet clean.
Pop the hood and you will see a neat, stock, engine bay. There is a
nice, reliable, 5.0L V-8 sitting in there that gets the job done
without a lot of drama. Its backed up by a 4-speed automatic trans
that runs the power back to a solid axle rear end riding on
multi-leaf springs. Sounds like a good old reliable design for a
truck, doesn't it? That's because it is. Of course, it has power
steering and front disc brakes too, and 255/70R15 BFG tires all
around complete the picture.
Come on down and check out this nice C10 Silverado.
