The K20 Custom package
The 1967-72 C/K series trucks are the most coveted trucks in
America largely because, unlike any of their peers, they can be
used as daily drivers without hesitation. The 1972 truck is
the most coveted of all, featuring the rare K20 Custom Package that
included chrome bumpers and improved trim. This exceptionally
attractive example received a frame-on restoration using a straight
rust free truck to start with in 2014, and was completed with an
eye-catching blue over white livery.
Finished in a new base coat and clear coat with a spray on bed
liner and new chrome bumpers. Powered by a powerful 350
engine, with Edelbrock 650cfm carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum
intake, dual exhaust, manual choke, engine heater, and Turbo 350
transmission, this truck runs and drives wonderfully.
The truck utilizes stock Dana 44-5F Front axle with splicer manual
hubs and Saginaw HO52 rear axle, a NP205 transfer case, as well as
stock gearing. The truck sits on a set of 285/75R16 BF
Goodrich All-Terrain Tires size on 16” chrome American Racing
rims. The truck has 4-inch lift, amazing road manners at
highway speeds and has great off-road capabilities as well.
In addition to new paint, the truck’s interior has been restored
with brand new velour seat facings in blue over white,
reconditioned door cards, new dash pad, new interior paint, new
steering column, new steering wheel, new carpet, sliding rear glass
window and CD stereo system. Everything operates as it
should. This truck is great looking and is a
pleasure to drive.
