Vehicle Description
1951 Buick Special Deluxe finished in Victoria Maroon with
Black/Creme interior. Odometer shows 55,180 miles. Powered by a
263c.i. Buick Fireball Inline 8 with a Stromberg 2bbl carburetor
producing 128hp/218lb-ft of torque backed by a DynaFlow 2-speed
automatic transmission. The Buick Special was the last model in the
lineup to receive a new full-width body in mid-1949 as a 1950
model. The 1950 model featured some new designs that had the like
of three "venti-ports" on the hood sides and "Special" script on
the front fenders. 1951 rolled around and the only major change in
the body was the grille going from a "snaggle-tooth" look to the
more conventional "waterfall" design. The "venti-ports" and
"Special" script remained.Features in this Buick Special consist
of; Sonomatic AM radio with antenna, standard accessories group
(analog clock, wheel covers, trunk light, license plate frame),
"Weather Warden" venti-heater and defroster, turn signals, backup
lights, white wall tires, independent front suspension, 14" wheels,
new 6-volt charging and starting system, new carpets, recently
serviced engine, resealed transmission, resealed differential,
rebuilt fuel system, rebuilt brakes, and repainted in 2016. There
is one known owner of this car before 2015, from Leoti, Kansas,
