Cadillac or a gossamer Lincoln but the original Land Yacht?
MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this iconic 1967
Airstream Caravel 17-foot camper for Airstreamers and Airheads to
consider. We purchased this iconic Airstream directly from Richard
Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage who bought this Airstream during the
filming of Garage Rehab while out in Arizona. This Airstream is
overall very original and is a true time capsule from the golden
years of Airstream. This single-axle unit was made in Jackson
Center, Ohio and has the following features - Hydro-Flame furnace,
three-burner stove with oven, refrigerator and sink, laminate
flooring, plenty of seating or up to six people; a small bathroom
is at the rear with a full-size toilet, mini-bathtub and a separate
bathroom sink plus storage space. All five windows come with
separate screens. Its signature polished aluminum exterior is in
overall great shape especially for being very original, with a few
minor blemishes visible on close inspection. The window panes are
intact, clear and removable when you want to feel warm winds while
camping. This Caravel's bodywork is straight and solid overall and
rides on a pair of radial tires with matching chrome wheel covers.
Inside is plenty of seating for six people on padded benches or
couches finished in green broadcloth. There's a dark laminate floor
in most of the living space. As soon as you enter, the dining table
is on your right, the kitchenette on your left and the bathroom is
at the rear of the unit. The kitchenette offers a refrigerator,
three-burner stove with oven, sink and overhead storage. Behind a
folding door is the bathroom with storage, separate sink, full-size
toilet and a mini-shower stall. Please note we have not tested any
of the above mentioned. Blinkers, tail lights, and brake lights
have been tested and are fully functional. Airstream only made the
17-foot Caravels between 1965 and 1969, during one of its busiest
production periods. The company's website claims every inch of an
Airstream has a function and there is no planned obsolescence,
Airstreams from the 1930s are still roadworthy today and are highly
collectible with a huge cult following. All you Airstreamers and
Airheads and anyone else who might be interested should check this
camper out, especially with spring just around the corner! This
trailer is currently located at our facility in St. Louis,
Missouri. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage
exempt title. GET OUT AND CAMP!!! OR Copy & Paste the Link Below
