1960 Tasco Turquoise Convertible Corvette
THE
VETTE NET.com ??" is a nationwide Corvette brokerage network and
proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum.
Thank you for stopping by to view this C1 Corvette. It isn't very
often that will you see a "never restored" 1960 classic Corvette
for sale at a reasonable price AND in such nice driver-quality
condition. Located in MICHIGAN, this Vette has its original and
quite rare Tasco Turquoise lacquer paint. Back in nineteen
seventy-one, the current owner purchased this Tasco Turquoise 1960
Corvette for the second time and became its caretaker ever since.
He has done an outstanding job! He first owned the Vette in 1963
and is believed to be the fifth owner. You are looking at mildly
reconditioned C1 Corvette that drives and handles as good as it
looks. The lacquer paint appears original and is very shiny with
minimal aging. The chrome has never been restored and shines
bright. The interior has been partially reconditioned (dash pad,
seat covers, carpet) and is in very good condition, as you will
see. The fiberglass body panels appear to be all factory-original
with no evidence of any repair. The frame is in very good condition
and the suspension (springs and shocks) was updated several years
ago. A new exhaust system was recently installed. The replacement
engine has been driven fifteen thousand miles. It is a 1971 400c.i.
Chevrolet engine with a four-barrel carburetor and runs great. The
4-speed Borg Warner transmission appears to be original, as does
the positraction differential. The options on this Corvette
include: 4-speed transmission, hardtop (color matching), heater, AM
radio, windshield washers, positraction differential (3.70 ratio),
and white wall tires. Overall, this 1960 Tasco Turquoise Corvette
is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition. It is ready for
you to enjoy and will certainly put a lot of smiles on your face as
you drive this nostalgic ride. No matter where you live, delivery
can be arranged anywhere worldwide at a reasonable cost. I am very
experienced working with international Corvette enthusiasts and
