1976 Red Corvette For Sale

This 1976 Red Corvette is a blast to drive thanks to the upgrades done by the previous owners.

383/405Hp engine, 59,700 original miles, automatic transmission, black leather interior, power steering, power brakes, power windows, rally wheels, tilt and tele steering column, X-A/C, AM/FM Delco radio, Gymkhana suspension, dual exhaust, and much more.

We sold this corvette to the last owner in 2016.

The last owner installed a 383/405Hp Blue Print engine in the winter of 2016, HP & Torque: 405 HP / 440 FT LBS, Compression ratio: 9.5:1, cast iron heads, flat tappet cam, cast steel crank, Hypereutectic pistons, hand-picked seasoned block, square and parallel decked, align-honed main bearing bore, cylinders honed on computer-controlled machine to within, .0002 straightness and roundness, cylinders are sonic-tested for thickness, 4-bolt main, 4.000" bored .040" Over, 1-piece rear main seal, new Blue Print cast steel crankshaft, 3.750" Stroke, OEM type 5.700" connecting rods w/ 150,000 psi bolts, Hypereutectic pistons, cast iron Vortec heads, 1.25 diameter valve springs, hardened retainers and springs, 2.02 swirl polished intake valves, 1.60 swirl polished exhaust valves, 1.5 long slot, stamped steel rockers, hardened push rods, .487 Intake .503 Exhaust, 234 Intake / 244 Exhaust duration @ .050 - 112 degree lobe separation.

The last owner also installed a GM aluminum intake, Holley carburetor, dual exhaust, chrome exhaust manifolds, adjustable strut rods, rear spring, rear spring bushings, tie rod ends, 4 shocks, power steering control valve, power steering cylinder, power steering hoses, HEI ignition, and fan clutch. He also had the transmission and the rear end rebuilt.

One of the other previous owners replaced the seats, carpet, door panels, weatherstrips, and repainted it in base-coat/clear-coat.

We drove this corvette about 4 hours home. It runs and drives strong.

1976 was the last year for the Stingray emblems on the fenders of a corvette until the C7 generation. GM only produced 4,590 red corvettes out of 46,558 total production that year.
