car was built between the years 1978-2002 and featured a unique
twin-rotary engine with rear wheel drive and which was initially
offered as either a two seat coupe or a 2+2 coupe and the an open
top two-seater convertible roadster The car has made Car amp;
Driver Magazine's '10 Best List' a remarkable 5 times! It has
become synonymous with pop culture in numerous films including the
'Fast amp; the Furious' and 'Gran Turismo'. The FD RX-7 was 'Motor
Trend's 'Import Car of the Year' in 1993 as well as 'Playboy'
magazine's 'Car of the Year' in the same year! 'Road amp; Track'
proclaimed the car as 'The ace in Mazda's sleeve is the RX-7, a car
once touted as the purest, most exhilarating sports car in the
world!' Handling in the FD was regarded as world-class, and it is
still regarded as being one of the finest handling and the best
balanced cars of all time. One of the most appealing Japanese cars
ever produced, unfortunately the early models have largely
disappeared from the roads almost entirely due to the renown
insurmountable rust issues of all the Japanese cars of this era
making this original owner example with only 55K original miles all
the more rare and unusual in its completely rust free and all
original stock condition! This car was purchased new by its
original and only family owners at 'Eddie Cress Mazda' of Mission
Hills, CA on 5/7/1988 and the car was always serviced at the same
dealership for many years, until the car was brought by the family
to Arizona in 2007 where it was then serviced at 'Thunderbird
Automotive'of Surprise, AZ before returning to southern California
in 2015. The car will be sold with its original owners manuals and
service history and the car was recently serviced at 55,548 miles
at 'Rick's Japanese Car Care' of Thousand Oaks, CA.This is a
beautiful stock always garaged and all original example with it's
original engine with only 55K original miles and with all of it's
original factory specifications and options intact. Owned since new
by only one mature and fastidious family owner and always primarily
serviced at either Mazda dealerships or specialists since new with
the original owners manual and service booklet and service history
since new available. The car has a very straight body with
beautiful paint and the car has obviously always been garaged and
has had no history of any accidents and no rust with the floor
boards and trunk area all remarkably completely original and solid.
The car has it's original factory 'Light Gray' leather interior
