Up for sale in our Houston showroom is this very off-road worthy
1967 Ford bronco. Between the powerful V8 engine and the 4WD, this
Multi-Purpose Vehicle is sure to be fun on or off road. The Ford
bronco was introduced in 1966 to compete with small 4WD vehicles
such as the Jeep CJ-5 and the International Harvester Scout. When
the bronco was first produced in 1966, it was a completely new
vehicle for Ford. The frame and other key suspension components
were not shared with any other vehicle in the Ford lineup. Powering
this iconic automobile is a 289 CID V8 engine that runs smoothly
and provides enough power for cruising down the highway or ripping
up the dirt roads. The exhaust gasses from that large V8 are routed
through headers and out the back. Providing gear shifts for the
engine is a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission. The rebuild
was performed by Texas Auto Gear roughly 300 miles ago. Providing
the fuel and air for this beast is a new carburetor topped off with
a new air filter. When it comes time to slow this iconic MPV down,
the driver will appreciate the new front disc brakes along with the
rebuilt drums in the rear. Providing plenty of off road capability
are new hub lockers and new wheel bearings. Ensuring the big tires
don't get out of hand are new tie rods. Moving outward, the Ford
Bronco is arguably one of the most iconic small SUV body styles
ever produced thanks to a rather well-known police chase. The body
of this bronco is finished in a burgundy paint that has a few
imperfections but would be well suited as a driver or weekend
off-road toy. Also, the front and rear bumpers have been replaced
and are in good condition. The suspension has been lifted four
inches to fit the large alloy wheels wrapped in high profile
all-terrain tires. This setup provides plenty of ground clearance
for off-roading adventures. Moving inward, the interior of this
small SUV is finished in burgundy to match the exterior. The front
bucket seats are finished in a white/burgundy vinyl that is in good
condition. The rear bench seat is finished in white vinyl and is
also in good condition. laying below the seats is burgundy carpet.
Keeping the driving experience easy and pleasurable is power
steering. Overall, this Bronco is in fair condition and would make
an excellent weekend off-roading toy or cruiser. To see all the HD
