standard Black color.All mechanics are excellent.In 1966, the 427
cubic inch was introduced in the Corvette and all 427 engine cars
received special hoods. The high performance solid lifter 427 was
initially listed at 450HP but for reasons unclear the rating, not
the actual output, was reduced to 425HP shortly after introduction.
It is also of note that some 390HP engines were rated at 400HP.
Backup lights became standard and were incorporated into the
existing rear inboard taillight housings. The car has no signs of
any accidents and is the beneficiary of an obviously recent frame
off restoration and looks extremely striking in it's repainted
original 'Marlboro Maroon' color paint with a Black interior and
soft top. The car must be driven and seen to be truly appreciated -
drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or
rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern
day sports car a run for it's money! The 4 speed manual
transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the
temperature always remains cool! This is a rare opportunity to own a
great daily driving and never abused example of a recently
frame-off restored last and most collectible year of the second
generation Corvette, a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/390HP Big Block
Roadster with air conditioning, PS, PB, PW, Dual Side Exhausts,
Positract rear end, 4 speed manual transmission, Tint amp; aluminum
bolt on wheels! This is one highly desirable and collectible
unabused example of one of the best styling efforts of the decade,
a genuine grand touring car in every sense of the word, this
shortest lived Corvette design (1963-67) is probably the most
sought after apart from the 1953-1958 models and they are seemingly
increasing in value and desirability each year! This particular
fully frame off restored model with its original window sticker
(not a copy), Protecto-plate, tank sticker and owners manual is
sure to prove a most worthy investment for any Corvette collector
or classic American car enthusiast!
