Vehicle Description
For sale in our Detroit showroom is this beautiful 1977 Ford F150
Ranger XLT pickup. The Ford F Series is a line of pickup trucks and
medium duty commercial trucks that were produced by Ford from 1973
to 1979. This generation also led into the introduction of the
F-150 that is today's most popular model. This generation is noted
for the body panel's durability as Ford used extensive amounts of
galvanized sheet metal to fight corrosion. In 1976 the F series
became the best selling truck in America, a title that it has held
ever since. A luxury line called the Lariat was introduced for
1978; Ranger, Ranger XLT, and Ranger Lariat trim levels
incorporated rectangular headlights with optional chrome headlight
doors and chrome grille insert. This particular 1977 Ford Ranger
has the very powerful 460 cubic inch numbers matching V8 lurking
under the hood which was professionally rebuilt by Dynamic Engines
just 5,000 miles ago, backed up by a C-6 automatic transmission.
The Ranger is in extremely great condition having only 46,552
actual miles. The exterior is finished in an Emerald Green high
gloss finish with beautiful chrome trim all the way around. The
green interior looks just as good as the exterior finish and looks
as though the truck is right off the showroom floor. This Ford has
been stored for most of its life and is awaiting the right person
to make this their daily driver. With such few miles it is like a
brand new truck, only you can make it yours for about half the
price of the new one at the dealer down the road. For more
