Vehicle Description
Stk 2377 1966 Ford Mustang
Lee Iacocca and Ford changed the automotive landscape at the New
York World's Fair in 1964. Many believe that no car in history,
other than maybe the Model T, affected the way Americans perceive
automobiles like the Mustang. This 1966 Mustang coupe is an older
restoration and a nice example of this American icon. The body was
refinished in Sahara Beige. Period correct Mustang GT wheels,
redline BFG radials and a GT fog light package give the exterior a
nice look. The interior was reupholstered in beige vinyl - door
cards, headliner, carpeting and wheels are all in good condition.
The factory dash houses a full gauge package and an AM/FM sound
system. Based on the VIN, this was a factory 'C' code car - a
289ci/200hp 2V. Engine casting numbers show the block to be a 289ci
motor cast in 1966. It runs an Edelbrock aluminum intake with a
Holley 4160 carburetor. Matched with the 4-speed manual gearbox,
this is a nice performance package. With a Blue Oval dress-up kit
it looks and sounds great. Brakes are 4-wheel manual drum units.
This is a nice 4-speed Mustang coupe that will quickly find a new
home. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
