Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1967
Mercury Cougar. With a pro-touring restoration with Firestone front
and rear Airide suspension with Sanden High Polish Compressor, Full
SSBC 4-Wheel Disc brakes system, and plenty of other mods that this
is sure to turn heads everywhere it goes. Under the hood sits a
289CID V8 paired to a smooth shifting 3-speed C4 automatic
transmission. Bolted to block is a Weiland intake manifold,
Edelbrock Carburetor, Holley air cleaner, chrome alternator, and
shorty headers. The A/C is hooked up but not currently blowing
cold. The motor fires right up even on a cold start, runs extremely
strong and has great throttle response. The motor only has 3000
miles on the fresh rebuild. The exterior blue paint is in great
condition and shines brilliantly in the sun, along with the
polished aluminum American Racing Torq Thrust II Wheels (17x7x8).
The interior is equally as impressive as the newer tan vinyl/clock
interior shows minimal signs of normal wear and tear. This Cougar
is still equipped with the am cassette, but listening to rumble of
the motor is much more desirable in a muscle car like this, or can
easily be swapped with the new retro digital stereos everyone is
using these days. Other mods include steel braded lines, wrack and
pinion power steering conversion with KRC pump, tubular front sway
bar, KYB Gas-A-Just rear shocks, power winder conversion, billet
pulleys, and tons of other chrome and polished accessories and
mounts. The Mercury Cougars have been increasing in value in recent
time, and this one will be a fantastic addition to a car collection
of any size. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1967
