Vehicle Description
1962 was the only year Austin-Healey built a Triple Carbureted
model. This 3000 Mark II has 3 SU type HS4 carburetors on top of
the 2912cc inline 6 cylinder attached to the 4 speed synchromesh
transmission with overdrive switch. This 4-seater BT7 is a very
clean, rust free roadster Convertible. It was repainted Healey Blue
about 8 years ago. The chrome is very nice with no pitting, the
interior is excellent with new carpet, new steering wheel and
trafficator, along with all new leather piped seating. All the
gauges are in great shape and are fully functional. All the brakes
are new with brand new front discs. New clutch slave and hoses.
Rear differential has also been re-sealed. Soft top, window frames
and tonneau cover are included with the car. The car also comes
with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate and a
Certified Copy of Factory Record Certificate. This is very solid
excellent running example of a British engineering.
