Here’s a very nice 1931 Ford Model A rumble seat coupe that has been with the same individual owner since 1975 and reads just 32,800 miles on the odometer! It has seen a lot of recent restoration work and is now ready for a new owner.
The body of this car remains all steel and is in excellent condition. The underside looks nice as well. The shiny black paint with contrasting wheels and pinstriping gives a very handsome look. The chrome pieces have all been redone too. Note this car retains its original single taillight configuration.
The engine is the original 201 cubic inch straight 4. The serial number is clearly visible on the block and matches the title. The drivetrain remains essentially stock, as do the suspension, brakes, and steering. The electrical system remains 6V but has been converted to an alternator for better charging.
The interior has been redone as well and really looks sharp! There was some high quality work done here. Be sure to get a good look at the seat, door covers, and headliner. The rumble seat was recovered as well. The speedometer, fuel gauge, and ammeter all work properly.
This is a great car for someone wanting a low mileage Model A with all the hard work done. It has a nice period look and can be a lot of fun with that rumble seat. And as a 1931 it represents the last year for this significant model. Think you can take it for the next 43 years?
