This vehicle is a heater and radio delete model and the fuel gauge
is inoperable. For 1961, annual changes consisted of a thin,
vertical and horizontal bar grille, exhaust pipes that exited below
the rear bumper instead of through it and this was the final year
wide whitewall tires were available. It was the last year for
contrasting paint colors in body cove areas and the last year of
factory two-tone Corvettes of any type until 1978. Engine
displacement remained at 283 cubic inches but power output
increased for the two fuel-injected engines to 275 and
315horsepower. Power ratings for the dual-four barrel engines did
not change but that was the last year of their availability. Fewer
than 300 miles have been added to the odometer since the 2016
restoration. Documentation includes restoration receipts and
associated documents, a large binder of restoration photographs and
a vehicle data sheet. Competition to this Corvette in 1961 included
Aston Martin's DB4, Jaguar's E-Type, Maserati's 3500 GT and
Mercedes-Benz's 300SL. This car is currently located at our
facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer
shows 42,001 miles but not understood to be actual. It is sold as
is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT
