In the last 28 years and only 7,000 miles, this gorgeous ZR1 is
almost exactly the way it rolled off of the showroom floor!
Boasting 375HP from the factory when the valet key is switched to
full, the ZR1 proved to be a whole different animal than your run
of the mill C4 Corvette. Other defining features exclusive to the
ZR1 includes a wider stance with 11" wheels tucked into the wheel
wells, squared off taillights, better brakes, better steering, and
one of the most important is the LT5 sitting under the hood. In a
partnership with Lotus, Chevrolet was able to produce this power
house of an engine. This all aluminum engine featured 32 valve DOHC
heads and was built and assembled by Mercury marine. 1990 was the
first year of the C4 ZR1 and to purchase one of these from the
factory was nearly double what it would have cost you to get a
normal Corvette. This 1990 Corvette ZR1 specifically is well
documented and is very much original. The only work known to be
done has been putting in new injectors and swapping out the factory
tires for a set that could handle the speed this car is capable of.
It has been well kept over the years and is ready for a new home so
if you are in the market for a piece of Corvette history and want
something that is enjoyable to cruise, you need to seriously
consider this one! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom.
