Vehicle Description
Did you miss your opportunity at a 2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Super Snake? Want another chance? This low-mileage rocket remains
exceptionally fresh in every way - from the quicksilver paint, to
the factory decals on the supercharged V8. So driving this 800 hp
juggernaut out of our showroom will feel just as good as driving
away from Ford on day one.
The Super Snake is a true professionally built muscle machine.
Those with a deep passion for a blue oval, and even deeper pockets,
could have a GT500 transformed into one of the most powerful and
highly sought-after Mustangs to ever hit the streets. It has a
special fiberglass Super Snake hood that looks like it can swallow
its victims whole. There's a new front fascia with deep ducts and a
large carbon fiber front splitter. The blocked-out rear quarter
windows pay homage to the best snake-bitten Shelby before it. This
airflow package is completed in the rear with a large spoiler on
top, and a functional splitter down low with the dual exhaust. If
you're a lover of bright work, then you still get it on this one,
but it remains functional on features like the hood pins and those
massive exhaust tips. This mean machine has a dark side. The full
black striping package announces this as a special Shelby long
before the badges do. We absolutely love the exclusive set of Alcoa
20-inch forged alloy wheels finished in the sinister black. It's
all set against the original Ingot Silver metallic paint that
retains a hard shine. It showcases the straight sheet metal as the
light evenly rolls between the panels. The overall good care and
exceptional level of luster is why we think you might mistake our
showroom for a Ford dealer stuck in 2012 time warp.
The moment you open the door, the first thing you'll notice are the
seats. Averaging less than 1,800 miles annually means little time
for wear. These look like race-ready units, which seems fitting in
this track day monster. But you also instantly notice the premium
side, too, with the supple leather and the special Super Snake logo
embroidered in the seats. The same insignia presentation goes for
the center console and the special floor mats that include Carroll
Shelby's signature. You paid a hefty premium for the Super Snake,
so you got premium features. It includes power windows, power
locks, power seats, key-less entry, cruise control, and automatic
climate control. The stereo is the AM/FM/XM/CD Shaker unit with a
touchscreen interface. It pumps out huge power, and it's still
modern enough to have Bluetooth, satellite navigation, and
interface with your iPod. Speaking of modern conveniences, you also
get the safety of dual front airbags, side airbags, and ABS.
This generation of the Super Snake is especially sought after for
what's under the hood. You'll love showing off this amazingly fresh
engine bay that's stuffed with Shelby Mustang power. The 5.4-liter
V8 is significantly lighter and more advanced than the previous
generation. Not only is this motor original, but it came direct
from Shelby American with the special optional Kenne Bell
supercharger. That means this is the top dog with a ferocious 800
horsepower. This symphony of power is played through a
sweet-sounding Borla exhaust system. You get full control of this
monster motor and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the six-speed
manual transmission. In fact, speaking of control, the suspension
was upgraded to include dynamic adjustable dampers, lowering
springs, tuned stabilizer bars, and a front strut tower brace.
There are also Wilwood disc brakes with six-piston calipers up
front as well as slotted and vented at every corner. And it's all
backed up by super sticky Michelin Pilot tires.
This is a mean beast engineered by the best to handle its power
wisely. And this low mileage example proves in every way that it
has always been looked after like the instant classic it is. So if
you missed the opportunity at a Super Snake a half-dozen years ago,
rarely do you get a second chance like this. Don't miss out, call
today!
