Here's a nice driver quality 1948 Ford Coupe being offered for
sale. This car was brought to us by a good customer that wants to
make room for another project he has going on and it was time to
get it out of the shop. He acquired the care a while back from an
estate sale. This vehicle had been in the same family for quite
some time. He is actually a retired auto body specialist so what
drew him to this car was how solid it is and the fact he liked the
"stock" look of it with that "old hot rod" feel. This 48 has had a
51-53 Mercury flathead dropped in it with less than 1000 miles
since it was rebuilt. The flatty is paired with a 3 speed
transmission that has a column shifter. The car still has the
original dash and working gauges, a manual oil pressure gauge was
added below the dash and it does work. Check out the original ford
steering wheel, very cool. The cloth interior is subtle and in very
nice shape, free of much wear, rips and tears. This car is all
steel and the original stock rims and caps are available if agreed
upon in the sale price of the car. Look over the pics and you can
see the paint does have a nice luster to it! You may see what
appears to be flaws or dullness in the paint, especially on the
top, this happens on black cars when pictured and is caused by
reflections within our building. Please call with any questions
