Mercury Monterey 2 door hard top 1956 . Old school hot rod with about a 25 year old restoration. Powered with a 302 HO V-8 and C4 automatic transmission. The restoration was done sometime around the late 1980s or early 1990s and owned by a senior citizen then sold to his brother about 6 years ago. This cool classic was always garaged and well kept . It has been to a countless number of shows and rally's through out the northwest. The V-8 motor always fires right up and runs and drives flawless and sounds superb with the straight pipe exhaust.Not to loud and a very healthy rumble.The flames and pin striping is as old school as you will find.We have driven this car around central Oregon and get the thumbs up whenever we are on the road.So if you are considering owning a very cool drive able hot rod to go to the car shows or just for a great getaway weekend road trip this one reliable classic that will be make the trip more enjoyable than our run of the mill cars we drive every day.
