Vehicle Description
1968 Triumph TR250 the Triumph TR250 was a one year only model
which married the Michelotti designed TR4 body with the more
powerful 6-cylinder engine of the TR6.
The Triumph TR250 that we have available for sale was the recipient
of an older restoration. This Triumph was restored approximately 30
years ago and has been off the road since 2001 although has just
been gone through mechanically. It is finished it the original and
desirable color of Valencia Blue with a black interior and top as
well as a silver hood stripe. There are some areas of the body
which show some minor bubbling, but overall condition of the paint
is very good.
The interior of the car is very good no excessive wear on the seats
or carpet. The black vinyl top is in great condition with no holes
or tears and the windows are clear. There is an older JVC radio in
the car, but it is not operable. It appears all other electric are
in proper working order.
The car runs and drives very good, engine runs smooth and idles
great with no indication of over-heating. The car shifts well, and
clutch engages as would be expected.
This car currently has wire wheels with Michelin Redline tires.
Although there is plenty of tread on the tires they should be
changed due to dry rot cracking.
Drive and enjoy this desirable British Sports Car the way it is or
bring it to the next level. Either way it will be a great driving
experience.
