Burgundy with burgundy leather interior, it benefits from a 327
engine installed with a 700R4 transmission with overdrive. The car
just came out of 40 years of family ownership. The father bought
the car in 1960 and was having trouble with the Aston Martin engine
so he decided to upgrade the power plant to a more reliable and
powerful Chevy 327 V8. He gave it to his son in 1973 and it's been
under his loving care ever since. The car really comes alive with
its muscular American drive-train and runs and drives very nicely.
This is a very desirable late production DB2 and one of the most
important and iconic Aston Martins of all time. This rare DB2 is a
wonderful discovery that is not to be missed. -One of only 309 DB2
