History on the 1976 Triumph TR6:

Triumph set the stage for being an affordable, six-cylinder sports car. Rivaling many cars of its generation because the TR6 design was not curved and sleek, but rather it was squared off in the front and the rear. The body of the TR6 was bolted onto the frame, featuring an anti-roll bar, semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension, and rack and pinion steering. Disc brakes were fitted at front and drum brakes at the rear, the TR6 was completed with a very unique and distinctive 15-inch wheels. With timeless styling, a quality build, throaty six-cylinder power it is a great alternative to the MGC, a 240Z or even a BMW Z3. Under the flattened TR6 hood was the same 2,498cc overhead-valve straight-six engine. The twin Stromberg-carbureted engine used a 74.7 x95mm bore and stroke. An 8.5-compression to make 104hp at 4,500rpm and 143-lbs.ft. of torque at 3,000 rpm. Paired with a four speed manual gearbox it will leave endless smiles on your face. The TR6 has cemented itself as a true British Classic.
As you walk up to this particular TR6 you are struck by the beautiful Russet Brown exterior paint. The Russet Brown paint retains a regal and authentic look that brings you back to your childhood when your father used to own one. As you open the door you are struck by the how well the bright work sparkles and shines. With confidence you close the door and are greeted by the beautiful wooden dashboard that houses a full complement of instrumentation. The bucket seats are finished in an exquisite beige. You rejoice because your father’s seats were not kept in this pristine condition as this particular TR6 is. As you examine the cabin it reminds you of the first time you met your wife. In fact, she said what caught her eye was the Russet Brown exterior paint. As you put your hands through the steering wheel and pull the choke out and twist the keys to the right, the TR6 comes to life. As you grasp the genuine mahogany steering wheel it feels firm in your hands. Placing your left foot on the clutch and your right foot on the gas shifting into first is a breeze. Thirty-five years later it still drives like it did when you were seventeen. You ask, where do I sign?
This particular Triumph TR6 is painted in a gorgeous Russet Brown exterior paint that is in great condition. The upholstery in the interior was re-done close to three years ago and maintains the authentic look from 1976. The seats are in flawless condition and have no visible ware. All of the buttons on the interior function properly as well as all of the gauges. An aftermarket radio was installed and has USB integration allowing for you to listen to your favorite tunes. There are no panel gaps and the undercarriage of the car is coated to remain rust-free.
