First introduced in 1994, the A8 has been the flagship of the Audi
lineup. Utilizing an advanced aluminum space frame construction,
the A8 was state of the art and took on the best from Mercedes and
BMW. The 3rd generation A8 was introduced in 2009 and continued the
use of the aluminum body and Quattro AWD. It was the lightest car
in its class and offers excellent performance and fuel economy.
