Ultra rare 1963 FJ45 Landcruiser Shortbox truck. The ultimate
mountain 4x4 rat rod truck. 2 owner since new Colorado truck.
Bought new in Pueblo by the technician at the dealership. Many rare
parts. Body and Paint Painted once, very solid Cab and fenders. Bed
has seen its better day but mounts are solid and completely usable.
Sweet Patina. Looks awesome! Chassis, Suspension and Brakes
Excellent solid chassis, no rust through or welds. Frame VIN
matches body tag. Suspension is tight and not lifted. But rides
like a 63 Toyota. Axles have been upgrade to newer model so it had
excellent brakes. Power with disc on front. Will do 60-65
comfortably, steering is excellent. Powertrain Factory 135 was
removed and a rebuilt 145 was put in its place. Electric fuel pump
added. Runs great. Toyota 4 spd trans,clutch is excellent, transfer
case works as should and does not have the Toyota whine. Very
reliable rig. Not going to win a drag race but will keep up with
traffic and go anywhere you want. Will do 65mph, no problem, past
that its reving pretty high for me to push it. No smoke or major
leaks. Interior and Misc Interior is mostly original and in good
condition. Guages work. Cool paisley headliner and gun rack, I
could not pull out. Functional and solid. Has some interesting
parts like its original jack and tool kit, factory locking gas cap
and 1st gen wheels and caps. Has nice Toyo tires. Comes with a
bedload full of NOS and used FJ parts Mostly maintenance items but
a rare swing out spare carrier is in the mix. In full disclosure,
it is an old truck. Story has it about 150 real shortbox trucks
came here between 1963 and 67 which would make the truck rarer than
the coveted LV. This one is restorable but very usable and cool
as-is. Restored ones sell for anywhere from 30-75K and climbing.
