Vehicle Description
A mix of classic style and modern engineering, this 1972 Dodge
Challenger has recently undergone a complete body-off rebuild.
Finished in blue new chrome all around and a custom black interior,
it has been featured several times on StreetLegalTV, including the
installation of the Flowmaster exhaust and nitrous-oxide system.
The 408ci crate engine puts out 500hp and nearly 400rwhp through a
rebuilt TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The engine breathes
through an Edelbrock intake and a Demon carburetor. Mopar
Performance valve covers top off the 408 and stainless steel
braiding keeps the look clean and bright. The Flowmaster stainless
exhaust system with Super 44 mufflers, an NOS Powershot 125 nitrous
oxide injection system adds 85rwhp and completes the package. A
GMAX suspension and Hellwig sway bars keep the car planted during
cornering. Wilwood disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power
with 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-piston calipers in the
rear. The new-classic theme continues throughout the interior with
new black leather seats with blue suede inserts, black suede
headliner, black carpet and Auto Meter Phantom gauges. Modern
comforts include Vintage Air and a 1,000-watt sound system with
auxiliary inputs.
