Vehicle Description
This stunningly beautiful original California 1950 Chevy 3100
deluxe cab pickup truck has been frame-off restored and the body
has a mirror finish that is laser-straight with no rust anywhere.
Hundreds of hours have gone into the body and paint alone. The
frame was powder-coated and every grommet, every piece of
weatherstripping, every nut and bolt are new. The suspension was
rebuilt, and the bumpers and all chrome were redone. The grille was
taken apart and the pieces were either powder-coated or rechromed.
It has new stainless-steel taillights, bed strips, new Mahogany
wood in the bed and all-new stock exhaust with Jet Hot coating. The
interior was completely redone with a mirror finish on the doors
and dash, all interior metal was refinished, and a new steering
wheel and directional switch were installed along with new gauges
and switches, including key and headlight. The truck was converted
to a 12-volt system and features an all-new wiring harness, Vintage
Air air conditioning and heat unit, and a new AM/FM electronic
stock-looking radio. This pickup is powered by a rebuilt 216ci
engine with less than 280 miles and a completely rebuilt 3-speed
transmission with 3-on-the-tree shifting. The original radiator was
re-cored, the stock horn rebuilt, an all-new fuel line and gas tank
were installed, and the electric wiper motor is neatly installed
under the dash. There's nothing on this truck that hasn't been
redone, and the whole thing rides on brand-new Coker Classic
whitewall tires.
