Vehicle Description
Mr Vader Mustang has a slew of bolt-ons, from almost every piece
out of the BMR Suspension catalog to a set of 20-inch TSW wheels.
Biggest eye catcher is the Lamborghini doors. There\'s a LOT of
chrome in the engine. It also has a 2.3L Whipple Supercharger. The
3-valve has been rebuilt with an Eagle rotating assembly. The new
compression ratio is a boost-friendly 9.01. Original owner did some
mild porting on the stock heads and topped the fresh long block off
with a pair of Comp Cams bumpsticks. On the outside, a custom front
splitter, custom steel front fenders, carbon-fiber mirrors from
Carbign Craft, a carbon-fiber deck lid and hood from Seibon, Silver
horse Racing quarter-window louvers and a Street Scene rear
diffuser all accented to match. 20-inch Zinik wheels. On the
inside, black and orange upholstery stitched to match the exterior.
The windows are tinted dark. Gauges have been added as well as a
rear seat delete and many shiny accents. A custom trunk panel was
also made to hold the 2 body color 100-shot nitrous bottles. This
car has been as quick at 11.5 at almost 121 mph in the quarter
mile. The trunk also has a massive amp system, complete with its
own battery. A LOJAC security system has also been installed. This
car is mainly a show car and has been to at least 40 car shows
between the original owner/builder and myself. In the 3 years the
original owner showed it, he won 111 times. Since I\'ve shown it,
It\'s won 2 Best in Shows, Best Engine, Best in Class, Best 1980 or
Newer and some smaller awards.
