Vehicle Description
This is a rare and completely restored 1957 Chevrolet Cameo pickup;
one of 2,244 produced for 1957. It was stripped to the bare frame,
finished in factory-correct Cardinal Red and Bombay Ivory paint,
and almost everything is new from the frame up. It is powered by a
custom 350ci 4-bolt main V8 engine bored .060 over with 11:1
high-compression pistons, backed by a new 700R4 automatic
transmission with overdrive and a Lokar shifter. It features a
Vintage Air system, new independent front suspension and rack &
pinion steering system, 6-link and coil rear suspension, all-new
4-wheel disc brakes and brake lines, new gas lines and a new wiring
harness. It also has all-new window seals and gaskets. The all-new
factory-correct Cameo interior and carpet, a full instrument
cluster, new Retrosound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and new
windshield, seals and gaskets. The outside features all of the
original, professionally refinished chrome trim and a new wood bed.
The fit and finish is show-quality, and the paint has been
color-sanded and buffed to near perfection. This Cameo handles like
a sports car and has been driven less than 100 miles for testing
and tweaking.
