Vehicle Description
This 1946 Hudson Super 6 pickup is a two-owner vehicle. It was
purchased new in Texas and came to Aguila, AZ, when the original
owner sold it in 1967. It is powered by a 212.6ci 6-cylinder engine
and 3-speed manual transmission. It is a matching-numbers,
rust-free vehicle. This truck is highly optioned for the era with a
Weather Master heater and an AM radio with a foot-operated tuner
and volume control. It also has a Hudson tissue dispenser, oil-bath
air cleaner and sun visor. This pickup has just returned from a
complete frame-off restoration and was painted two-tone green and
black with a completely new interior. All stainless and chrome
parts were professionally restored, and all mechanicals were
replaced or restored to original condition. The wood cargo bed was
replaced with ash, and the bed rails were powder-coated. The
original wheels were replaced with Kelsey-Hayes spoked wheels, and
wide whitewall tires were added.
