In April 1968 Ford announced that for the first time they will be
offering the 428 Cobra Jet for the Mustang. Considered a 1968 and a
half because of the mid-year production option. Here at Kuyoth's
Klassics we are proud to offer this very rare R code 1968 � Mustang
GT fastback. This car has just undergone an extensive 2 year ground
up restoration here at our facilities. The odometer is actual miles
at 61,189. True numbers matching 428 engine and close ratio 4 speed
manual transmission. 3.91 Traction-Lok axle ratio, Power disc
brakes, power steering and even the original center console and
steering wheel! Painted the original Raven Black with black buckets
and sport deck rear seat. This GT was done right with zinc
phosphate coated hardware, factory painted control arms, red oxide
primer, correct date markings and stampings on all engine parts in
the first quarter of 1968, original hood scoop, super rare C8OF -AA
dated code correct carburetor down to the 14'' Goodyear Polyglas
tires and chrome steel wheels with GT center caps. Completely
rebuilt engine, transmission and rear end. This is truly a high end
classic muscle car rebuilt to like brand new condition sure to only
