Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a new arrival in the form
of a 1959 Chevrolet Apache Pickup Truck. This was a barn find that
was from Poplar Bluffs, Missouri that was purchased by the original
owner at Frank Nelson Chevrolet. It is said to have 19,415 actual
miles and we tend to be leaning that way as well because of the
overall condition of the truck. It starts by being a rock solid 58
year old vehicle with an under carriage that while having a little
surface rust is otherwise as solid as any other car or truck with
minimal miles. The interior is all original with the factory cloth
seats and matching door panels. The rubber floor mats are original
as well as the pedal pads, trim and dash with instrument cluster.
The choke still operates as it should in aiding the starting of the
truck when cold. The three on the tree transmission is very easy to
use and was a common item back in the day. The body continues using
the word solid as The door panels that usually show signs of
bubbling and rusting out but not here. The rockers and cab corners
are in great shape too.Under the hood boasts a smooth running 235ci
engine with fresh plugs, points, battery, a redone carburetor and a
new battery. The frame and suspension are original and still has
the original spiral shock absorbers front and back.Overall this
truck would be a great starter for somebody to take it to the next
level or for the truest that loves original. Both would be a high
