Vehicle Description
This stunning HEMI Superbird is one of 135 ever produced, and one
of only 77 automatics. It is powered by its original
matching-numbers 426ci 8-cylinder engine. The transmission was
upgraded with the famous 18-spline A833 HEMI 4-speed manual
transmission and the rear end was upgraded with the stout 3:54
Dana. Its solid provenance is validated with its original decoded
Fender Tag, matching-numbers engine, most of the Build Sheet and
all body stampings. This Bird retains much of its original
interior, including the original seats, door panels, instrument
cluster, dash pad and headliner. In addition to the original
engine, it has the original carbs and distributor. It has been
beautifully repainted and retains the original vinyl roof. It also
comes with both, hard to find, original jacks. The sheet metal is
original and rust-free, and even the reproduction resonators show
the Chrysler Pentastar. It rides on Goodyear Polyglas tires over
Rallye wheels.
