Vehicle Description
This beautiful 1970 Porsche 911E Targa was completed at the factory
in January 1970 with a silver metallic paint finish, black
leatherette interior, 5-speed manual transmission, US equipment,
light metal wheels 6J x 15 with 185/70 VR 15 tires, antenna left,
w/loudspeaker and noise suppression and tinted glass all around.
This Porsche has been lovingly maintained and is in very good
condition. The floors and battery area are original and solid. The
"deep 6" Fuchs wheels have date codes consistent with the car and
have just been restored and fitted with new Pirelli tires. The
engine runs strong and comes with receipts for a significant amount
of work done to it over the past two decades. The interior is very
nice with correct type door panels, excellent fitting and working
door pockets, freshly recovered front seats in vinyl and
houndstooth and new carpeting. The dash has a small crack in
between the speaker grill and the windshield. The Targa top has
been recovered and fits great. The silver paintwork was redone
within the last few years and has seen very little use and careful
storage since. It was reportedly taken down to bare metal when
refinished. The floors are original and great with no signs of any
notable damage. This 911E is a blast to drive and represents
excellent value for its condition. This 911E has been nicely
restored, is matching numbers, is in its original color scheme and
has records. We don't expect it to last long.
