beautiful 1957 Chevy Bel Air is powered by the original 283/245hp
high-performance engine with dual 4-barrel Carter CCFB carburetors
backed by Powerglide automatic transmission with its correct rear
end. It is equipped with an accurately reproduced batwing oil bath
air cleaner, dual stainless-steel exhaust system with correct
manifolds, dual outside rearview mirrors, dual rear antennas,
horseshoe-style Continental wheel cover kit, spinner hubcaps and
BFGoodrich Silvertown tires with whitewalls. The restoration of
this vehicle was completed using Classic Chevy International and
the Antique Automobile Club of America judging and restoration
manuals and guidelines, original Chevrolet Shop assembly and
accessory installation manuals, and original specification numbers
of Chevrolet Division General Motors Corporation. It is a two-time
Chevy VetteFest Gold Spinner award-winner and a Grand National
First Place winner. This museum-quality show car has many other
awards, including ISCA International Class Champion, AACA National
Award, CCI Platinum Award, and many others, all included with the
car. This 1957 Chevy is a proven winner and among the few vehicles
to receive such honors with its quality originality and superb
attention to detail.
