Vehicle Description
If you are in the market for the ultimate street machine that is
ready to take home first place trophies on the track, strip or the
street then look no further than this incredible Pro Touring SEMA
built 1970 Chevrolet Nova that has been appropriately named
Supernova.
Built for and displayed at the 2017 SEMA show, this Nova received
one of the most comprehensive Pro-touring builds we have ever seen.
A lot of times in the classic car market you find vehicles who are
being called Pro-Tourers, but in reality all they were trying to
achieve was a particular look or stance. They might have a fuel
injected engine, new paint and big wheels, but the car still
features stock suspension.
That's not the case with this '70 Nova. Every aspect of this car
was meticulous built with one goal in mind - Turn an average Chevy
Nova into a true street machine that highlights the leatest in
technology and performance! When you consider nearly $20,000 was
spent on just the latest high-tech suspension setup from JRI and
Detroit Speed, it's easy to see how no corners were cut during the
build.
Lets start with the body, A few custom touches were done throughout
including recessed and flushed rear windows, shaved door handles,
custom front and rear spoilers, custom hood and shaved drip rails.
Which have all been done before, right? But, keep in mind, there is
no fiberglass on the body anywhere. That's not a plastic front
bumper, that's not a fiberglass rear spoiler. Hours upon hours of
fabrication were performed in metalwork. Then it was coated with a
gorgeous white paintjob and yes those are decals, so if you so
chose you could pull the decals off.
Lift the hood and you'll find a fully detailed engine bay that now
features a HED built LS3 crate engine that cranks out an impressive
650hp. You'll quickly see the Edelbrock crossram with twin 102mm
throttle bodies that gives the engine bay a completely custom
appearence. The Nova also does have some creature comforts like AC,
Power Steering, Power Brakes and tilt.
Underneath the car though is where it gets really impressive. For
the suspension you'll find new Detroit Speed everything including
upper and lower control arms, sway bars, and a 4-link in the back.
Look closer though and you'll see the brand new JRI Hydrualic Ride
Height Control System and their latest J-Ride shock system. The
J-ride system allows the driver to adjust the shocks damping
capabilities without ever leaving the drivers seat. The compression
and rebound settings are adjustable on the full color touch screen
from the driver or passenger seat! How Crazy is that!
You'll also find a RPM Stage 7 4L60 transmission, custom exhaust by
Kooks, fully custom interior, BAER 6-piston, 4-wheel disc brakes,
and so much more that I know we are forgetting something.
It's not to often that you have an opportunity to buy a fully built
SEMA car, don't miss out on this rare chance. Call Today! We can
assist with financing and shipping options.
