Vehicle Description
This '57 Chevy 2 door hardtop started life as a 210 and has been
upgraded with all the Bel Air trim and moldings. This is a true
rotisserie, nut-and-bolt restoration. The foundation is a custom
chassis sporting Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners, 4-bar
coilover suspension and a Ford 9" rear with 3.55 gears. Mini tubs
allow room for the American Racing Wheels to fit in the back.
Diamondbacks Tires made the retro whitewalls on the BFGoodrich
radial tires. Motivating this beauty is a 355ci small block Chevy,
outfitted with Comp Cams roller cam, lifters, pushrods, and rocker
arms. Edelbrock supplied the aluminum heads and intake with dual
quads, valve covers and air cleaner. MSD 6AL, coil and distributor
handle the spark and the exhaust is routed through headers and 2.5"
pipes. The engine is mated to a Richmond 5-speed manual
transmission with a McLeod hydraulic clutch. A Flaming River power
steering rack and Ididit steering column along with Vintage Air and
a JBL sound system add a little luxury to the driving experience.
The interior features a black leather ensemble stitched by Ciadella
Interiors. Custom gauges, steering wheel and dash trim also
beautify the inside. The exterior is finished in a custom variation
of the classic Sierra Gold color mixed by RM Diamont. The shine is
produced by SPI Universal Clear, with a foundation of their epoxy
and primer. All new tinted glass, chrome and stainless finish this
iconic beauty.
