Up for sale we have a 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super. This truck has
had a total Frame off Restoration, and has a little over 3,000
miles on it since completion. Easily one of the most sought-after
body styles Chevrolet ever built, this Cheyenne won't disappoint.
It's done in the factory color schemes and has some great driver
options. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief
description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy,
but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,

We will start off with the exterior of the '71. Take the time to
look over all the gaps and fit of the panels on this truck and you
will see that the Hood, Doors, and Cab to bed gaps are all near
perfect. The fit is equally impressive, and the panels are straight
as an arrow. The body is covered in the White which is the factory
color for this Pick Up. It's done in base coat clear coat and has
been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine that's slick as
ribbon. You'll notice the Chrome and Stainless all appears to have
been replaced and is like new except for the door glass trim that
is still very nice. Speaking of the glass, it all appears to have
been replaced along with new seals and felts. Inside the bed of
this pickup is rock solid and the paint work is equally impressive.
To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a set of 15" Truck
Rallyes with BFGoodich Tires.
Next, we will look on the inside of this Cheyenne Super. The
interior is done in Olive Custom Cloth which is the factory color
combination and is an awesome complement to the White. It features
the houndstooth bench seat which has had the cover replaced and the
padding is excellent. The door panels, carpet, and headliner are
also done in green and have been replaced as well. Looking at the
dash it has had the dash pad replaced, and all the wood grain
accents are in great condition. This '71 comes with Tilt Wheel and
all the gauges are working along with the dome light. When you open
the glove box you will also notice it does have the sticker with
the factory codes.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the
hood it had a 350 Crate motor installed that's set up with a '71
model intake and a '71 model Quadrajet Carb. The engine is dressed
in factory style valve covers and breather. This Cheyenne Super
comes with a 350 Turbo Trans and a 12 Bolt Rear End. Also, it's a
factory A/C Truck that is still there and works great. To go along
with the air condition it also has Power Steering. The brakes are
standard and comes with Disc on the front and has had new lines
installed at the time of the resto. For exhaust it has the stock
style manifolds and dual exhaust. When you look under this Chevy
you're sure to be impressed as it has had a phenomenal frame off
restoration. It has had the front end redone with new bushings and
ball joints. The frame all appears rock solid and is detailed in
black. As for the floors and bed, they are done in White and all
look phenomenal.
