for purchase. The C3 generation of Corvettes ran from 1968 to 1982,
but had some various changes throughout the run of the Stingray.
With gov't restrictions killing off muscle cars the stingray had to
transition to more of a cruiser. A Chevrolet advertisement
headlined: "We gave it radials, a quieter ride, guard beams and a
nose job." Improvements to body mounts and interior did improve the
Corvette's ride and interior noise was reduced by 40%. Today, C3
Corvettes are some of the best buys in the classic automobile
world. These cars were incredibly popular and provide a great ride
with plenty of available spare parts. Despite all these changes,
Chevy still offered the 454ci V8 for one last year in the C3
run.
This beautiful, numbers matching, 1974 T-top corvette spent the
last few years of its life in Michigan, where it was well cared for
and enjoyed. The car lived in Ohio for a while before it came to
Michigan. The car features its 454 v8 paired to a manual
transmission. The Corvette remains in stock condition and features
power brakes, power steering, T-tops with the storage bag and a
AM/FM radio in working condition. The car runs and handles as it
should and goes down the road smoothly. Cosmetically the car is
good condition and shows well. The paint shines well and the
interior remains in good condition.
