Vehicle Description
This 1965 Toyota FJ40 has undergone an extensive mechanical
restoration while keeping the very unique California Desert Patina.
The Chevrolet V8 conversion was done professionally and mated with
a more modern Toyota 4-speed manual transmission which is matched
with the rare Ranger AA split gearbox which allows you to choose a
high and a low for every gear. It also has Saginaw power steering
and front disc brakes. This spring-lifted truck features Aussie
lockers on both axles, a custom roof rack, LED off road lights,
custom bumpers, new pro comp shocks. The dash is uncut and original
and it even has the 4-wheel drive instruction sticker. It has
factory controls with several custom AutoMeter gauges to support
the new Chevy engine. The front seats are early Toyota Celica
leather buckets. The floor has been Rhino-lined and a new,
custom-fabricated roll cage has been installed.
