all-original and has 16,723 original miles, which are documented
(title reads mileage exempt). The first owners purchased the
vehicle at Aloha Chevrolet Honolulu, HI, and then sold it on
December 19, 1981, to world-renowned Hall of Fame drag racer Dale
"Double D" Armstrong in Torrence, CA. Dale passed away in 2014 and
the car was sent to a museum in the summer of 2016. This original
Impala is powered by its original 409hp engine and 4-speed manual
transmission, and features a 3:36 posi-traction, power brakes and
steering, Delco AM radio, Sun 7000 rpm tachometer, a JVC stereo
system concealed in the glove box, and an RCA Victor Victrola 45
rpm record player. This stunning car rides on BFGoodrich tires and
includes its original spare. It was recently awarded First Place at
the AACA Nationals and First Place at the Boca Raton Concours
d'Elegance. Included with the vehicle are all of the first owner's
service records and most Hawaii inspection records, all manuals,
Chevrolet Factory ordering book, most California registrations,
