Vehicle Description
This 40th Anniversary Edition King of the Road Shelby GT500 KR has
80 actual miles and is in showroom condition. It has always been
garaged and collector owned. All Ford and Shelby American Window
Stickers and the Ford Window Sticker were signed by the late
Carroll Shelby and are included with the car. The interior remains
in its original factory plastic. This KR is finished in Silver
Metallic with Vista Blue stripes, the same as the one that debuted
at the New York Auto Show, with Carroll Shelby at its side. It is
powered by a 5.4-liter V8 engine and Tremec 6-speed manual
transmission. The KR is a design collaboration between Ford SVT and
Shelby Automobiles. The design of the KR equipped with a slew of
Ford racing parts including suspension and braking improvements,
14" Brembo brakes, Ford Racing exhaust, cold air intake and a
recalibrated ECU computer, delivering an extra 40hp and 30ft/lbs.

stunning aluminum Alcoa wheels wrapped in Goodyear tires. The
prominent exterior changes include a carbon fiber hood, carbon
fiber front air dam and 40th Anniversary GT500 KR badge set,
commemorating the 1968 King of the Road. The GT500 KR features
unique spring rates, dampers, stabilizer bars and a strut tower
brace. All were designed exclusively for the KR with one thing in
mind, to deliver a precision handling package. CARFAX shows
