This 2007 Ford Shelby Mustang
GT shows 14,445 miles and is powered by a Shelby
tuned 4.6-liter V8 mated to a Tremec 3650 5 speed manual. The 2007
Shelby GT was a limited production collaboration between Ford Motor
Co. and Shelby America. The Official production number in 2007 was
believed to be 5764, which included several prototypes. 07 Shelby
GT's were offered in either black or white.
Each Shelby GT received a unique serial number post production;
this is Shelby GT serial #07CSM5345, built in Las Vegas, NV at
Shelby America. 07CSM5345 is listed in the Shelby
Registry.
Carroll Shelby designed these pony cars not as drag racers but as
limited production cars built specifically for the Trans Am style
circuit race tracks and autocross events. Carroll Shelby's Legacy
is evident with every design angle.
The Shelby GT was built with a cold-air intake; a slightly more
aggressive engine-computer tune--necessitating premium fuel--a
high-flow X crossover pipe exhaust; a welcome inch-and-a-half drop
with Ford Racing Handling Pack: (stiffer shocks, springs, and
anti-roll bars front and rear); and a short-throw Hurst shifter for
the five-speed manual.
The limited production Shelby GT's totally dominated their SCCA
racing classes in 2007 and 2008. Though very capable, car #5345 has
never been tracked; I have tried to keep this SGT in near showroom
condition.
Finished in Super Black, I replaced the vinyl tape stripes with
custom painted Silver Satin top stripes and side stripes. Car #5345
is a fully loaded track inspired pony car with leather heated
seats, navigation, Shaker sound system and staggered custom
wheels.
This Shelby GT turns heads everywhere you drive her. Car #5345 is
ready for your club day at the track, a long road trip to your
favorite destination or a drive down the street to your local cars
and coffee event.
The purchase includes a Shelby Certificate of Authentication, a
promotional poster, the dealer window sheet, two Carroll Shelby
books, a history of Mustangs book, a baseball cap and a 40th
Anniversary Shelby GT commemorative hot wheel.
Two 07 Shelby GT's recently sold at Barrett Jackson Las Vegas 2017,
both individually for $28,600. Mine is priced competitively for
