Vehicle Description
This 1967 Corvette 427 L36 big-block coupe was built April 14,
1967, and factory-ordered by a Canadian GM dealer and comes with
its Canadian Build Sheet. It is powered by its correct 427/390hp
L36 engine and correct Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual
transmission shifter with bellhousing. It has its correct block,
heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, Holley carburetor, 3:55
posi-traction differential, AM/FM push-button radio, and tinted
glass on all windows. This beautiful Corvette underwent a complete
frame-off restoration and NOS parts were added at that time,
including side-mounted dual exhaust and black leather trim. The
entire car was mechanically and cosmetically gone through during
the restoration process and, once completed, it was placed in a
private collection until the spring of 2017. The Data Tag on the
car shows the paint code was Marlboro Maroon Metallic, while the
Canadian GM Build Sheet lists the paint code as Madeira Maroon
Metallic. This is a rare example of a beautiful and authentically
restored L36 Corvette coupe.
