Vehicle Description
Represented as a PPG show and display car, this 1955 Chevy was a
professionally built frame-off restoration/build. Every part of
this build was orchestrated and engineered while using the best of
the best in parts and talent. Every part was chromed, powder-coated
or polished. With a fully adjustable air-ride suspension, this
stunning body sits on RideTech and ShockWave components. The 9"
rear housing is equipped with Strange axles and a 4:10 Lenco
posi-traction gear set. Art Morrison 4-link and rear suspension
components give the '55 the ability to handle the track and the
street. Schott Modpro two-piece wheels with Mickey Thompson tires
provide an amazing look while giving the car amazing handling for
street cruising. It has power disc Wilwood 4-piston brakes on all
four corners. The 3" ceramic-coated exhaust, featuring Porter
mufflers, gives a sound that represents power and respect. The KTRE
3-speed automatic transmission contains all the best parts, and the
manual valve body with the B&M pro ratchet shifter gives it the
feel of confidence when shifting. The supercharged 383ci Chevrolet
engine has all the best parts in it, from the AFR heads to the
B&M 8:71 Megablower supercharger. Plumbing is done in stainless
lines and AN aircraft fittings, including the coolant system.
Dakota Digital gauges add to the hand-built interior featuring
custom leather by Danny Romo. Including a hand-built roll cage and
custom seats. This car was just serviced top to bottom and is ready
for show or highway. The PPG Bright Red paint is a representation
of a top-notch paint job and the PPG six-color Holographic flames
with Multi-Pearl are a showstopper. Using only the best components
available and building one-off components for the rest, this '55
Chevy is as amazing to look as it is enjoyable to drive, and it
comes with all documentation.
