Vehicle Description
This Ford F-100 big-window custom pickup has gone through a
thorough frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration with many Resto-Mod
upgrades. It is powered by a modern Ford 5.0-liter Coyote engine
and 6R80 automatic transmission, which has been fit into the
customized chassis that includes independent front suspension with
power rack & pinon steering and a 4-link 8.8" rear end. The engine
wiring, supplied by Ford Racing Parts, controls the Coyote with its
fly-by wire system and 6-speed automatic transmission while a
Vintage Air Front Runner system drives the front of the engine. It
has a Mattson polished radiator and air conditioning condenser
setups. The truck rides on 20" wheels from U.S. Mags and features
4-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood big brakes in the front to give
the stopping power this Coyote 5.0 needs. The original dash has
been completely redone. The stock-style hump was removed, flattened
and custom fitted with 1951 Merc Dakota Digital gauges. This truck
also features shaved turn signals that are now incorporated into
the headlights, roll pans front and rear, rounded door corners,
filled-in drip rails, Kindig-It door handles, 3" wider rear
fenders, smooth firewall, custom-made inner fenders, smooth running
boards, smooth tailgate, a mini-tubbed bed and power one-piece door
glass. The interior's starting system is modeled after today's
modern push-start system, which includes a key fob. Race mufflers
add an amazing sound to this fantastic-looking truck.
