Vehicle Description
This real 1972 Chevrolet C10 Super Cheyenne pickup is a great
example of a rare classic truck. As the original body tag indicates
this truck was born with the following options: air conditioning,
front stabilizer bar, power front disc brakes, power steering, roof
mounted marker lights, chrome rear bumper, Frost White and Mariner
Blue exterior paint, tinted glass, front and rear shock abs,
heavy-duty front springs, a 350ci V8 engine, full wheel covers, AM
pushbutton radio, and the Super Cheyenne equipment package. This
truck was purchased by its previous owner in 2006 from a dealer in
Virginia who purchased it from the original owner who lived in
North Carolina. He enjoyed this rust-free truck for six years
before sending it to a professional restorer in Portland, CT for a
meticulous frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration. Photos of the entire
restoration are included on multiple CDs. The sheet metal is all
original and the body is very straight with great gaps throughout.
The truck sports its original color combination of Frost White and
Mariner Blue paint which is high-quality and shines beautifully. It
has all-new glass throughout including the rear sliding window.
Everything on the exterior is new and the chrome bed rails with
lights look great. The truck sits on new Rally wheels with Cooper
tires and it has a matching spare. The inside bed is painted and
has a rubber mat for protection. The exterior is complemented with
an all-new interior that is the rare original color of houndstooth
patterned blue. The wood trim matches the exterior wood trim. It's
equipped with an Alpine stereo system, factory air conditioning,
and power steering. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and
home to the original matching-numbers 350ci V8 engine which was
completely rebuilt with a mild cam and new-style 4-barrel
Quadra-Jet carburetor and breathes through a dual exhaust system
which sounds great. The engine is coupled to a 3-speed column shift
manual transmission. The undercarriage is nicely detailed
throughout and the frame was refinished when the body was off.
Everything else underneath such as the suspension, braking system
and fuel tank was restored or replaced. Some extras are included
such as owner's manuals, service manual, receipts, restoration
photos, paint and license plate frames.
