Vehicle Description
This is stunning example of a detailed frame-off restoration on a
'55 Bel Air. The body is straight and has super-smooth contours and
crisp body lines; the new chrome and stainless steel line up nicely
from panel to panel. The doors shut with confidence to reveal nice
panel gaps. The bumpers shine true and bright, and all of the trim
has been polished and looks great. The glass is new and in good
condition as well. The paint was done meticulously, has been
maintained to a high standard and is show-quality. The engine bay
is clean and the paint in is as detailed as the exterior. Inside
the bay rests this Resto-Mod's powerhouse, a 6.2-liter 8-cylinder
engine backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. It has braided
lines and a cleaned up firewall, custom exhaust and ceramic-coated
headers. The interior has been fully customized and wrapped in real
leather, and features a fully adjustable front bench seat and new
door panel hardware. In its beautifully detailed and painted dash
rests a Classic Instruments display with LED lights surrounded by a
custom Billet Bowtie shroud. The power top is new and tight, and
the carpet is new as well.
