This 98 is powered by a 303/165hp, 4.9-liter Oldsmobile Rocket V8
and Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission. It is one of 7,521
convertible models built for the entire production year. This
incredibly rare 1953 Oldsmobile 98 convertible features full power,
including power steering, power brakes, power windows and power
top. It presents in spectacular condition; most all the chrome,
brightwork, leather and paint are outstanding. Finished in Polar
White, it has a custom two-tone green and white leather interior,
and a leather boot cover with a green-cloth Haartz soft-top.
Accompanying this motorcar is the original owner's manual, shop
manual, soft-top operation and books as delivered new. Also
included is a period photo of this car from the 1960s.
