Vehicle Description
This Cameo pickup has undergone a recent frame-off, factory-correct
restoration. Its original 235ci 6-cylinder inline engine was
rebuilt during the restoration process. Many mechanical items on
this truck were original, as determined by casting dates, and have
been restored including the carburetor, distributor, 3-speed manual
transmission and overdrive unit, differential, master brake
cylinder and radiator, which was re-cored. Brake drums and
stainless-steel brake lines were installed, along with the
original-style wiring harness. The wheel cylinders and the
stainless-steel trim were replaced, and the original chrome pieces
were re-chromed. The bed was replaced with original style yellow
pine boards, along with restored and repainted steel strips. It
also maintains its original deluxe heater and restored original AM
radio.
