Vehicle Description
This attractive and well-maintained 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud
III has been kept in highly original condition. It shows just
54,690 miles, which very likely indicates the true mileage when
taking into consideration the highly level of originality. The body
is finished in Mason's Black with red pinstriping, a suitably
elegant shade for a Cloud III. One of the best experiences of a
Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is the sumptuous interior. The smell of
leather and wool greets you when you open the door; the car's red
leather upholstery is a wonderful contrast to the Mason's Black
body and appears to be in very fine original condition, showing
only minor wear from careful use over the years. The maroon
carpeting has been replaced in recent years, and the original wool
headliner is excellent. The wood trim on the dash, doors and
seatbacks is in very good condition, appearing to be original and
unrestored. With comfort in mind, this Rolls-Royce is originally
equipped with electric windows, power steering, power brakes and
factory air conditioning. The Cloud III is the most desirable of
the standard Silver Cloud series. The 6.2-liter aluminum V8 is
smooth and strong, sending power through the robust GM-based
automatic transmission. These are fine driving cars that are
comfortable, stylish, very usable classics that can be driven
virtually anywhere with ease. This nicely maintained and attractive
Silver Cloud III is a very desirable model that is ready for
enjoyment.
